At Community Forever Village, we are committed to go beyond shelter and build true community, where our neighbors can find dignity, purpose, and become part of a forged family. We believe that creating meaningful relationships that foster mutual growth takes time and commitment. We believe that to do this will take individuals or families, who have not experienced homelessness themselves, but have been called by God to serve the men and women who have been lifted up off the streets into a new home of permanence.
We call these individuals and families, Missionals.
Missionals
Missionals model their faith and what it is like to live in community by living in the Village, side-by-side with their formerly homeless neighbors. They embody our values and are uniquely committed to the mission, vision, and core purpose of Community Forever Village.
They pay rent and all their expenses to live in Community Forever Village and donate their time as part of being involved in the community. They are intentional neighbors and have a passion to serve our neighbors who have come out of chronic homelessness.
